Take Better Care of Yourself
-Build confidence in your self-care journey (You are worthy of self-care!) as you find the motivation to do your self-care.
-Create a self-care routine so you can continue to perform great self-care - even with a busy schedule.
-Learn and perform the appropriate self-care skills for your specific condition or disease (like high blood pressure or anxiety).
-Learn how to save time and money related to self-care and healthcare-related services and products. My first suggestion is to find a primary care provider.
Grow Your Faith
-Learn to rest in God's presence to overcome people-pleasing and approval-seeking self-care and personal habits.
-Dig into Scripture lessons that impact your self-care and your relationships.
-Improve and strengthen your prayer life.
-Find ways to be more confident to get 'unstuck' on your faith journey.
-Learn how to trust and obey God so you use your gifts, live out your calling, and fulfill your purpose.
Improve Your Relationship with Others
-Learn how to impact your family's future health outcomes (help your family eat healthy food, get more exercise, and move more often).
-Improve relationships in your life and cope with the stress of parenting and marriage and intimacy while serving and caring for others.
-Prevent or overcome caregiver or ministry burnout (ie, start taking better care of yourself and take necessary breaks!).
-Save time and money and find healthcare and other services as you learn how to navigate through the healthcare & product system as a caregiver.
Why I Do This
I meet people daily who tell me they struggle with finding the time and motivation for their self-care because they're so busy taking care of others' needs.
They tell me how they love serving and caring for others. Yet they worry about what their health will be like in the future.
And after talking a bit longer, they tell me they also feel some responsibility, or maybe a calling. A calling to start taking better care of themselves.
But, they have no idea how to start. I can help you start - and motivate you to keep going while you learn how to stay consistent with your self-care.
I'm passionate about taking good care of myself to better serve the LORD, and I strive to help my readers do the same.
